The demand in realty and construction sector witnessed a bit of revival in the previous financial year and also with the expected steady spending on infrastructure by government(s) the LRPC strands and speciality products used in the said sectors might prove to be growth drivers for the company in coming years, Rajeev Jhawar Usha Martin added. Further with realty sector crawling back to normalcy, he expects the demand for elevator ropes to pick up. The previous year also saw improvement in automobile sector which in turn has resulted in renewed demand of value-added products of the company such as spring wire and other wires which are especially attributable to the said sector.

The last quarter of the financial year also witnessed an uptick in demand in oil and offshore market globally, thereby boosting up demand for large diameter ropes manufactured by Usha Martin. Rajeev Jhawar aims to expand Usha Martin’s global market presence in Elevator Ropes, Crane Ropes, Surface Mining Ropes and Trawler Ropes segments during the next fiscal and expects the exports to countries such as Singapore, Australia, USA, Canada, South Africa, Latin America and Russia to increase.

Heartwarming Video Of Penguins Chasing A Butterfly Delights Internet

An adorable video of a dozen of penguins chasing a butterfly ahead of them has taken the internet by storm.

Shared on Twitter, the clip shows a group of Adelie penguins hopping across a southern landscape. The little creatures are seen flapping around to get hold of the butterfly flying ahead of them. It is unclear where the clip was shot, but one this is for sure – it is insanely cute.

The short video has managed to capture the internet’s attention. It is just two seconds long but since being shared it has already been viewed nearly three million times. The post has also garnered hundreds of likes and comments.

While one user wrote, “Somehow, any scene with penguin is a heartwarming! Penguins, like our pets are so cute,” another said, “this (video) really needs to be longer.” “I wonder which Penguin convinced them it was a posse…” wrote third. A fourth user jokingly added, “That butterfly is taunting them with its flying ability, and I love it!”

Meanwhile, another such adorable video of animals created a buzz across the internet a while back. In the video, monkeys were seen exchanging love in a way that seemed they were seeing each other after a long wait. The clip showed two fully-grown monkeys, each carrying an infant on their back, coming towards each other and hugging one another. The social media post proved that there is much similarity between humans and animals when it comes to showing affection.

Prince Louis Steals The Show At Queen's Jubilee Celebrations

London:
Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday brought the curtain down on her historic Platinum Jubilee celebrations, making a rare public appearance on the last of four days of festivities.
The 96-year-old monarch, who has been dogged by problems with walking and standing, appeared twice in person on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the Trooping the Colour military parade on Thursday.

The effort forced her pull out of a thanksgiving church service on Friday, plus the Epsom Derby horse race and a star-studded concert on Saturday.

But she reappeared briefly after a public parade reflecting changes in music, dance, fashion, culture and society since she came to the throne way back in 1952.

Huge crowds stretching hundreds of metres (yards) down The Mall outside the palace cheered as she emerged onto the balcony and waved.

Dressed in green with a matching hat, her white gloved hand clutching a walking stick, she was flanked by the three future kings: princes Charles, William and George.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran earlier wrapped up the pageant with a rendition of his 2017 hit “Perfect”, and the national anthem “God Save the Queen”.

Pageant
Sunday’s £15-million ($18.7-million, 17.5-million-euro) “Platinum Jubilee Pageant” featuring some 10,000 people, began with a parade of armed forces from the UK and the Commonwealth she heads.

The queen’s hologram was projected onto the sovereign’s 260-year-old Gold State Coach that led the celebration of her record-breaking reign.

Some 6,000 disabled and non-disabled performers from street theatre, carnival and puppetry joined in to celebrate the queen’s life and reign.

Highlights included an aerial artist suspended under a vast helium balloon, known as a heliosphere, bearing the sovereign’s image.

The carnival included a giant oak tree flanked with maypole dancers, a huge moving wedding cake, bangra drummers, steel bands, plus African-Caribbean carnival animals and a towering dancing dragon.

In the royal box, Charles kept his four-year-old grandson Prince Louis entertained, bouncing him on his knees to the rhythm of the music.

New iPhone 14 Series Leaks Confirm Processor Details: A16 Bionic, 6GB RAM

iPhone 14 series will come with two different set of processors. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will run on the upcoming A16 Bionic chipset. The other two basic iPhone models, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are tipped to come with the year-old A15 Bionic chipset.

Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will retain the same Apple A15 Bionic chip which currently powers the iPhone 13 series and iPhone SE 3, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will get the new Apple A16 Bionic chip.

Apple is tipped to finally come with always-on displays with iPhone 14 series. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggested that the Pro models will come with the always-on display.
Also, there are high chances iPhone 14 series launch could be delayed due to lockdown in China and the current ongoing global chip shortage. The production of the upcoming iPhone 14 series could be delayed and affect the launch timeline.

Production schedule is currently disrupted due to China’s month-long lockdowns and it will result iPhone 14 series to launch later in the year and not in September.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro renders have been leaked by top tipster Jon Prosser leaking out the complete display and the camera changes.

The new screen will be slightly larger with a center pill-shaped notch and a circular camera cutout, ditching the old wide notch originally debuted with the iPhone X. iPhone 14 Pro will sport a more squarish design along with a triple camera layout, said to be 57 percent bigger than the predecessor.

Larger rear camera array on iPhone 14 Pro may have forced Apple to modify the corner radius. iPhone 14 models are leaked to not have the speculated under display Touch ID sensors.

iPhone 14 lineup was expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor in 2022 alongside the Face ID unlocking feature. iPhone 14 Pro models this year will have a triple rear camera setup featuring a larger 48MP wide lens, 12MP ultra-wide and a telephoto lens, as leaked in the new report.

Previously popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirmed the same. iPhone 14 series will feature four models this year, but without the ‘mini’ version.

We will see a new inclusion in the series, but it’s tipped to be iPhone 14 Max, which probably will be a toned-down iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro.

So, there will be a total of four models under the new series: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and no iPhone 14 mini. The iPhone 14 Pro models have been leaked to support 120Hz displays along with 6GB RAM.

Apple iPhone 14 models are also said to come in eSIM-only and nano-SIM options with eSIM-only service in India with Airtel, Jio and Vi offering eSIM support.

The rumor mill earlier suggested not iPhone 15 series in 2023, but only this year we could see iPhone 14 modes without any SIM card slot, but as per the development, Apple will offer both options: physical nano-SIM or eSIM-only variant. In India, three of the major carriers, Airtel, Jio and Vi offer eSIM service.

Finally, the prices of iPhone 14 models has been earlier leaked. Starting with the base model, iPhone 14 price will start at the same price tag of iPhone 13 at $799 (around Rs 61,000). Apple will phase out mini variants starting this year, so iPhone 13 mini is being replaced with a more expensive iPhone 14 Max. The new iPhone 14 Max price is tipped to start at $899 (around Rs 68,500). Coming to the top model, iPhone 14 Pro Max price will start at $1,199 (around Rs 91,400).

Nine dead in three mass shootings across United States

Shootings in three American cities killed nine people and wounded two dozen more on Saturday night and Sunday morning, the latest outbreaks of gun violence in the wake of three mass shootings that have rattled the United States.

In Philadelphia, a confrontation between two men escalated into a gunfight that sprayed bullets into a crowded bar and restaurant district, killing three people, wounding 12, and setting off panic as people tried to flee, police said.

Similarly, shooting broke out after midnight near a bar in Chattanooga, Tennessee, after midnight on Saturday, killing three and wounding 14, according to police.

In yet another shooting in the early hours of Sunday, three people were killed and two were wounded in Saginaw, Michigan, WEYI television reported, citing a police statement. Unlike the other two cases, which affected bystanders unconnected to the shooting, all five of the people in the Michigan shooting were involved in the incident, police said.

No suspects were reported in custody as of Sunday evening in any of the shootings.
The violence struck as communities in three other cities are still grieving from massacres that killed 10 people at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York; 21 victims at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas; and four people at a medical building in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Alithia dreamed of attending art school in Paris and loved to play soccer, according to an obituary posted by a funeral home.

Gun safety advocates are pushing the U.S. government to take stronger measures to curb gun violence.

There have been at least 240 mass shootings in the United States so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit research group. It defines a mass shooting as one in which at least four people are shot, excluding the shooter.

U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday called on Congress to ban assault weapons, expand background checks and implement other gun control measures to address the string of mass shootings.

Chris Murphy, the lead Democratic U.S. senator working on bipartisan gun safety talks, said on Sunday he thinks a package including investments in mental health and school safety and some changes to gun laws can pass Congress.

The brazen nature of the Philadelphia shooting left officials aghast. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney called it “horrendous, despicable and senseless,” while Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said, “We’re absolutely devastated.”

Police believe two men got into a fight and began shooting at each other, and one of them was killed by gunfire. A police officer observed the other shooter firing into the crowd and fired at him.

The shooter dropped his gun, as police believe he was struck by the officer, but he escaped through the crowd.

The dead were aged 22, 27 and 34 while the ages of the people wounded ranged from 17 to 69.

In Chattanooga, three people were dead and 14 wounded by multiple shooters, authorities said. Two died of gunshot wounds and a third died after being struck by a vehicle while fleeing.

Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy appealed for the public’s help, asking any witnesses to call a tip line.

In Michigan, Saginaw police reported they were called to a scene where two men were pronounced dead and one woman was transported to hospital where she died of her wounds.
